The airport in Skopje is an international airport situated 22km from the city center. Several major companies are flying to Skopje, such as Turkish Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Air Serbia, Alitalia, Edelweiss, Croatia Airlines, Adria Airways, etc.. Moreover, low-cost companies are also flying to Skopje, so it is pretty well connected to major European capitals and airport hubs. For more info visit the airport website.
Bus Transporation
The bus line is a daily charter that operates on regular basis. More info can be found at the airport website. The price is 180MKD for one way.
Taxi Transportation
The taxi services at Skopje International Airport are regulated by the price list which is exhibited at the exit of the airport and in each taxi vehicle separately.
The vehicles of the Airport taxi company are all in white color and marked with a taxi sign numbered from 1 to 65. Airport taxi is the only company which has been authorized by TAV Macedonia to transport passengers from Alexander the Great Airport.
The vehicles are parked at the exit of the airport building 24 hours a day, so there is no need for reservations.
