Call for Papers
BalkanCom is a premier technical conference in communications and networking in the Balkan region. The goal of BalkanCom is to bring together researchers in academia, research labs and industry from all over the world to the historical region of the Balkans. BalkanCom 2023, with the theme Towards 6G at the Crossroads of Civilizations: Connected Intelligence and Sensing continues the best tradition of scientific conferences of being completely not for profit. The sixth edition of the conference, technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Communication Society, IEEE Türkiye Section, and IEEE ComSoc Turkey Chapter, will take place on 5-8 June 2023 in İstanbul, Türkiye.
We solicit technical papers describing original, completed, and unpublished work not currently under review by any other journal/magazine/conference. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Submissions must be full papers, no longer than 6 pages in IEEE double-column format, including figures and references, and submitted via EDAS. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. BalkanCom reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference, if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Notification of acceptance: April 20, 2023
Camera-ready papers due: May 10, 2023
Journal Invitation
Best papers will be invited for a special issue of the ITU-JFET Journal and a special issue of the Elsevier Ad Hoc Networks Journal.
